Bucket Brigade

Grab two of your favorite fabrics and make an organizing statement. The Bucket Brigade pattern has Four sizes to hold everything you love the most. From your smallest items to your largest, there’s a place to stash what you love the most. You will be making the medium size in class. Intermediate Sewing:  Riley Overalls

I just love these overalls!  The Riley is a classic overalls design with a relaxed fit.  The shop sample is made up in a heavier weight linen and are so easy and comfortable to wear.  This class is for the intermediate sewer, as you will be cutting out your project before coming to class.  The pattern is well written and a joy to work with. Free Motion Quilting 101

Come and learn the basics of free motion quilting! Diane will touch on all of the important elements- needles, thread, quilting feet and much more. You will practice on sample fabric and batting squares. With practice, and the
basics you learn from this class, your free-motion quilting possibilities are endless.

Kiko Robe

Beginning Sewing

Come learn the basics of sewing!  In either of the two classes below you will learn how to trace a pattern, pin & cut your pattern out and sew together.  These projects are perfect for those who have never sewn, as well as for those who are a little bit rusty and want to get back into sewing.

The Billie Top is an easy fitting top that is a great basic to have in your wardrobe.  It features a drop shoulder 3/4 sleeve, that is easy to sew in and a simple faced neckline.  It can be made up in a wide range of fabrics.

The Kiko Robe is a great beginning project!  It is a simple, loose-fitting garment, that sews together easily.  It is a perfect project to make for people on your gift list- what could be better than to get a cozy flannel robe for the cold weather season?!

Fresh Poppy Tile Scene:  Machine Embroidered Wall Hanging 

Poppies are one of nature’s most elegant floral gifts. This modern embroidery tiling scene captures them beautifully, utilizing appliqué patterns and innovative stitches. Its smaller size (10″ x 24″) and narrow shape make this project perfect for hanging in one’s office or accentuating a small reading nook. Class Fee includes embroidery designs. Beginning Ruler Work 

Combine free-motion stitching with rulers and get a beautiful style of quilting with shaped patterns. In this class you will use a straight ruler that will allow you to form precise straight edged patterns. Diane will teach you the
basics of quilting with rulers in this hands-on technique class. You will work on sample quilt squares as you learn this fun technique. Knowledge of free motion quilting highly recommended.      Class Supply List

Athina Top

The Athina Top is a boxy style featuring an extended shoulder and dropped sleeve. Comfortable and casual, this simple garment is a quick and easy sew and looks great with skirts, pants & jeans. The pattern includes two length options.  This class is for the advanced beginning sewer who can cut out their project before class and is comfortable on their sewing machine. The Remy Raglan Top is a simple, timeless top that is quick to make. It features a relaxed fit at the bust and waist with three sleeve choices and an optional keyhole button closure. This class is for the confident beginning sewer who is able to cut out your project before coming to class.

Brunswick Jacket

This functional, comfortable, and stylish unlined cross between a jacket and a cardigan features raglan sleeves, convenient on-seam front pockets, and a simple stand-up collar style that can also be folded down to look like a traditional collar with lapels. Choose from two different lengths,  short (hip length) or medium (below hip length). This class is for the intermediate sewer.
