Beginning Sewing:  Rusty Sewers, this is the class for you!

I am really excited about this class!  It is perfect for those who haven’t sewn in a very long time and want to brush up on your garment sewing skills. Jump back into sewing without a huge time investment and minimal cost.

In this 2 part class we use a fabric panel that is printed with half scale pattern pieces that we sew together to make up into a tent dress.  This project incorporates basic seaming and finishings for executing garment construction including, interfacing, facings, button and buttonholes and hemming.

The class fee includes the panel, thread, needle, interfacing and buttons.  You need to be able to thread your sewing machine and know how to sew a basic straight seam.

If you have never sewn before, you need to schedule a private lesson prior to the class.  If you don’t have a sewing machine you can use one of ours- please call the shop for more information.
